The primary purpose is to promote interoperability between different systems in information learning, and scientific environments. The focus area aims to strengthen a co-ordinated development through the digital research libraries and their interaction with the digital universities.
The co-operation will guarantee that highly specialized knowledge and know-how regarding standards and technical solutions can be adopted and rendered useful in other environments.
Target Results (Deliverables)
The goal is achieved by means of calls for projects, where the proposed projects must illustrate and as a minimum establish a demonstrator (proof of concept) in the area of standards development. The target result promotes interoperability through Nordic participation in the development of international standards that support and advance researcher and student access to digitized scientific information in the dynamic and global learning and research environment.
